Antonio Restucci

Welcome to the web site of Petroglyph Records artist Antonio Restucci. Chilean born guitar and mandolin virtuoso, Antonio Restucci, currently resides in Barcelona, Spain. Antonio's musical career has spanned three continents, three decades and multitudes of cultures. His music appeals to audiences as diverse as his influences. From South American folk, Classical Spanish, Flamenco, Gypsy Soul, North American and Latin Jazz to Middle Eastern and East Indian Roots, Antonio has developed a unique and idividual style unparalled by his contemporaries. Through the years he has recorded five solo CDs prior to being discovered and signed by Petroglyph Records. His latest album, Crisol, under the Petroglyph label is the culmination of more than thirty years of musical development and was produced by Grammy Award winner Andy Byrd. Supporting artists include such greats as Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent, Eva Duran, Zoltan Lantos, Carlos Aguirre and Emilio Garcia. Crisol is a Spanish word for the crucibles used in melting precious metals. It is an appropriate title since he masterfully melts different musical styles to create a work of art worthy of display in the Tower of London. He is currently booking concert tours for the summer of 2005 throughout Europe in support of the release of "Crisol."
